If anyone didn't get the announcement, the walk is canceled (I think the email only goes to Outdoors Club members).

It is supposed to be below freezing tomorrow afternoon. I am guessing there will be lots of icy snow on Brooklyn sidewalks just like here in Manhattan.

Those 2 factors have led me to change my Yes to No regarding attending your event tomorrow in Brooklyn. I really hope you have to same walk again when it is warmer and there is no ice/or snow on sidewalks, etc.

Anybody know the street/snow ice conditions in the area now? Not too keen to walk in cold slush and on ice.

I don't know Brooklyn very well. I plan to take the A train from W. 59 St. in Manhattan to Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn.

Please let me know about how much time I should schedule for that subway trip. Thanks.

I'm not totally sure, though, because sometimes the info on about the weekend schedules isn't accurate until closer to the end of the week.

The MTA site changed what it had posted about the A train schedule. Right now, in "The Weekender," the site says that the A train *will* stop at the Nostrand station. Maybe they canceled the originally planned track work because of the snow? Would definitely advise checking again before leaving, in case they change it again.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
