Livermore Valley Wine Country celebrates the season with a weekend full of holiday cheer!
Holidays in the Vineyards is an annual wine country tradition where wineries showcase their tasting rooms with arts and craft vendors, special wines, festive activities, santa visits, carolers, and more.
Guests are encouraged to bring toys to their favorite wineries. All toys will be donated to the Pleasanton-Livermore Fire Association's Toys for Tots Program after the event, directly benefitting children in need throughout Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. For more on the Toys for Tots program, visit http://pleasanton-ca.toysfortots.org/local-coordinator-sites/lco-sites/default.asp
I have hosted this event for the the past few years and have really enjoyed it. The various wineries are decorated and have different activities going on as well as food and wine tasting.
This event is from 12:00 to 5:00 so I thought we could try to visit one winery per hour with short driving time inbetween. I am going to list six wineries to visit or we can remove one and visit five of them. Each winery will have different activities, music, craft vendors, food, etc. Consider bringing some toys along for the toy drives, some wineries will waive their tasting fee with a toy donation. These are listed in the order in which we will visit them.
1.Page Mill Winery- $5.00 tasting fee or free with a toy donation or refunded with purchase.
Chili both days- Various vendors
2.The Steven Kent Winery-$10.00 tasting fee (includes keepsake glass) I really like this winery but if the majority would like to skip it due to the higher tasting fee then we can do so.
Wine and cheese pairing/chocolate and wine pairing, Various Vendors
3.Garre Winery-$5.00 tasting fee refunded with purchase
4.Eagle Ridge Winery-No tasting fee
Tri Tip Chili, hot mulled wine, Various Vendors
5.Bent Creek Winery-No tasting fee

Hopefully we can arrange some carpooling with some DESIGNATED DRIVERS who like to go but prefer or do not drink. Put in your RSVP if you would volunteer to be a DD. And thanks in advance. There are three meetup groups combined for this event.
This is not a ticketed event, however Tasting Fees may apply and vary by winery.
