Excellent selection of short plays esp for the price. We laughed a lot, with the compere as well as the plays. Some good acting as well. Thanks for arranging.

Brilliant, amazing characterisation and writing plus skilled acting in one evening of 9 plays!

Overall, a very successful evening of diversified and highly creative material! I think the venue really worked well this time. Nice to have a proper technician (sound and light) and a stage manager as well. We're on our way! Doc

Plays (mostly) really enjoyable, especially liked the goldfish one..What Comes Around Goes Around....most amusing! Actress Jenny Johns was also the star of the show... Just a pity the group didn't really meet up properly...I bumped into a few people, but a pre-arranged meeting place beforehand (or after) would have been good. Otherwise, it was a good evening, and well worth it.

Good size audience, and they appeared to like what they saw. I hope everyone got there on time, despite the big fireworks show at South Park. It was a new venue, new day of the week, and new approach to staging for Oxford Playwrights. Previous shows had been at Friends' Meeting House, on the flat, with no lighting. This was literally a step up. Varied, generally humorous scripts. Some first class acting, the changes went well, and there was an interval. Well done!

Hi, Does anyone know where would be best to park for this event?

Parking is going to be tricky anywhere near, I think, because it always is round here (permits only), and because of the fireworks.

There are a couple dozen parking spaces in the lot belonging to ST Clements' Family Ctr. Come early, some actors will be wanting spaces as well. Doc

Should point out that this is VERY conveniently timed and situated for anyone watching the fireworks in South Park :-)

I'm happy to host - no idea what is involved, though, and my organisational skills are shocking!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
