For those looking to put some pep back into their step following the season's indulgences, we present our first ever scheduled arts group walk around the grounds of Blenheim Palace, taking advantage of the public footpaths offering free entrance to the beautifully landscaped gardens. We'll assemble in the car park of the Black Prince pub in Woodstock, and following the walk, suggestions are welcome for lunch or a drink in the village. I can recommend Woodstock Social Club on the main road for a cheap pint and VERY cheap lunch, but then I never could resist a £1 cheese and pickle roll in a posh gaff. Not that I'll be there anyway. For infinitely more sophisticated guidance, you'll be in the hands of event host and Jericho poet Christine Koutelieri.
There's a car park in Union Street. (If you're entering the village from Oxford, turn right into Hensington Road, then it's first on your left). There's also on-street parking slightly further along the Oxford Road (A44). From either of these places, carry on walking down the hill and the Black Prince Pub is on your right hand side.
