An important part of the mission of PPS is to work together with the local community. To this effect I have agreed that PPS would provide photographers for the event described below. About 10 photographers will be needed to cover this event, but more are of course welcome. I've capped this event at 20. To make it easier to sign up I am posting this event as a PPS Photo Shoot.

Subject: Youth Day of Service at the River Mouth of the San Diego River
This is the request from the Foundation: "Meet at Robb Field parking area at 8:30 am at approximately 2500 Bacon St, 92107. Volunteers that day will be working to prepare a neglected section of the River Trail for a native plant demonstration area. Specifically, they will be helping to define a footpath, lay down weed prevention, and prepare for planting. We are hoping to get pictures of all of the volunteers that day, that will eventually be used to create a photo mosaic. So, as volunteers arrive and check in, we would like head shots of everyone. If there are multiple people who would like all of their pictures taken together that is fine. As long as everyone gets in at least one picture. Then, as the event progresses, we would like to get some action shots as well. We are taking the head shots to insure that every volunteer is represented in the photo mosaic."
