Full moon canoe tour, amazing views of the city at night

The best way to experience the amazing skyline at night. When we first paddle over to the island will be just as the sun is setting, We would take the longer route on the way across which should take just over an hour, then once we stop off on Center Island for around 30 minutes, we would head back around Muggs island to reveal a breath taking view of the city, and with a clear night the moon should be glowing.

In the past we have had these events and its hard to put the experience across in words, so please come and join us to make it a great memory to have and share with new friends.

We have all the correct lights so we are perfectly visible to the ferries that cross and they would pretty much be the only others boats on the water at that time which makes the water so clam and just makes you want to sit back enjoy the peace and soak in the surrounding.

Again guys its up to you if you would like to bring a snack and a drink, at this time most of the food outlets would be closed on the islands, also if you bring a bag then hoddies maybe be an option but at this time of the year lets hope they wont be needed. And above all BRING YOUR CAMERAS.

Hope to see you guys there!

Is there parking available? Also, is it safe enough to bring camera and other electronics (ie what are the chances of us flipping the boat? :P)

Hey Elisa, I brought my DSLR last time and it was fine, and someone brought a laptop once. That being said I have a ski backpack (somewhat water resistant) and there is always some small risk of a big splash. If you have a smaller camera you can stick it in a ziplock bag and it would be fine.

Thanks for the answer, I'm thinking of bringing my DSLR, and I'll do as you suggest and pack a waterproof bag to protect it :)

Hey guys just to clear a couple of questions up.

Your life jacket and paddle is provided.

There will be a qualified and first aid certified guide that will help you with your jackets, give a beginners guide on how to paddle and he is there to make sure you enter and exits the canoe safely.
He also is the stern so his just is to direct the canoe on the water making sure we avoid all traffic. In 6 years i have never seen one of our canoes tip, the canoes we take are upto 36 feet long and is pretty much impossible to tip.

So we %100 encourage you TO BRING CAMERAS as the photo opportunities are amazing.

On the morning of the event i will send all attendees an email with lots of details as in parking, payment and directions and everything else.

If anyone has any more questions then just get in touch and ill get back to you as soon as i can.

    Chris
