Join us at 10 am for a flat water paddling trip on Charles Mill Lake! Charles Mill Lake is one of the easiest places to paddle and easiest to get to as well. There are numerous islands and coves to explore including the Black Fork River which feeds Charles Mill Lake.
We will paddle up the Black Fork, explore the area, then head back to explore another area across the lake where we will stop for lunch.
I have two kayaks available for rent. The rate is $20 per boat, per event. The kayaks include a pfd and paddle. Dry bags are optional if you need one. Please call me at[masked] if you need to reserve a boat. A drivers license and signed rental agreement will be required at the time of the event.
Plan to be on the water for about 4 hours. Bring a lunch, plenty of fluids, sunscreen and bug spray. This trip is suitable for beginners and a great place to learn flat water paddling techniques.
Directions to Charles Mill Lake; Take I-71 North to Mansfield Take US 30 east about 2 miles to SR 603 (Mifflin) and turn right. Go a half mile and make another right on SR 430. The entrance to the boat ramp is a few hundred feet down on your right. (see maps below) Look for Kayakers!
Hope to see another great turnout! Thanks!
