Whetstone Creek is one of the nicest flat water creeks in Delaware County. Its quiet and very scenic. Plan to meetup at 11 am. Bring a lunch, sunscreen, bug spray and plenty of fluids! The weather is expected to be very nice on Thursday with highs only in the upper 70's! Expect to be on the water for 3 hours plus. Hope to see you there!

Directions: I usually take I-71 north to state route 61 and head north on 61 to state route 229, then head west on 229 thru Ashley to Horseshoe Rd. then left on Horseshoe Rd and right on Cole Rd to the put in. However; you can also take US 23 north up thru Delaware to SR 229 and head east to Horseshoe Rd and turn right on Horseshoe.

(see maps below)

If you go I-71, exit I-71 at SR 61 and turn left on SR 61 and go a short distance to SR 229 and head west thru Ashley to Horseshoe Rd. Turn left on Horseshoe and then right on Cole Rd. Part of Cole Rd is gravel. Follow it until you see me with my blue kayak.

There is a small turn around at the curve. Park here!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
