Come join us for breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Bell Rd. at 8:15, then come out Hamilton Creek Marina at 9:00 where we will put-in and enjoy the beautiful glassy waters of Percy Priest Lake for some laps and laughs, paddle and float the coves , drift around in a group flotilla style, view some wildlife and fish if you like. Come one, come all and join us for some kayaking fun.

Meet at Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then on to the Marina. Or if you don't want breakfast, we'll see you at the Marina! Directions to Cracker Barrel and the Marina: Take exit 219 off I40E, turn right, down Bell Rd. Cracker Barrel will be on your right. From Cracker Barrel turn right on Bell Rd., continue on Bell Rd to Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina (not the boat ramp down the road, the marina. Or you can use the boat ramp that is directly at the marina). Hamilton Creek is directly across from Ned Shelton Rd. Bring: sunscreen, towel, water, pfds, boats, cameras, water cannons, and adventurous spirit! my cell phone:[masked]

It was a fantastic morning. I'd start my weekend like this any day. The wind was a killer, though. Snowball slept much of the remainder of the day and my arms and shoulders are complaining. Time to start my Sunday with a real hot bath.

After a very lazy start, Michael tells me we worked 1,255 calories to burn off the stacks of pancakes. The wind and current made it harder than normal but the weather was PERFECTO.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
