I'm the old man of the group, if I can di it, any one can.
Native Nashvillian, graduated from West End High School in 1956. Yep, I',m a old but I still get around ok. I spend 30 years in the air force, and lived all over the world. My wife is Greek. and my daughter lives in Athens with our two grandsons.
Kayak, as for water type, I'll try anything once, but don;t have a helmet for white water kayking. I'm to out of shape to even try it.
Swimming, hopefully kayacking, and fishing.
Great bunch of friendly pddlers to go with anytime.
Hey JP, it was fun chatting (or shouting over the wind) and paddling with you on the Cumberland. I used the photo you took along the way for my profile...didn't even know you were doing that, but it's framed perfectly with a great view of the countryside by the river!
Hey JP - the paddle is not tomorrow we did it today...sorry for any confusion. We did that today at the very last minute after finishing the stream clean up. When I posted in (in a hurry) I didn't notice it said Sunday in the title - I caught it right away and changed it to Saturday. It said Sunday for about 5 minutes - that must have been when you signed up...we'll do it again after some more rain.
Good to meet you this weekend! Looking forward to the next trip.
It looks like you guys had a good time on the Harpeth trip. I'm sorry I missed it, but I look forward to meeting you at another paddle.
Hello JP this beginner's kayak trip is fro all of our new kayakers who's never kayaked, this will be a trip for them to learn and exp. our river paddle etc.
JP, Awesome Paddle today on Station Camp Creek. Hope you had as much fun as it seemed you did. Be sure to share the photos with your family & friends.
JP...Thanks for all your help @ Walter Nunnelly Bridge River Access / Take Out Projet. Much appreciated.
