Early Risers Paddle at Whitehall, Sun July 7

Please arrive in time to be in your kayak (butts in boats) and ready to paddle at 8:00 AM. Plan to spend about 1-1/2 to 2 hours on the water. If people are willing, we may stop at one of the larger islands and have a short break to explore (be sure you have rope to tether your kayaks.)

IMPORTANT: Do not program "Whitehall State Park" into your GPS.  The parking for the boat launch is on Route 135 between Hopkinton and Westborough Centers.  The nearest Road to the launch is Dale Road in Hopkinton.

***PLEASE NOTE*** The organizers in this group are NOT trained leaders or instructors.  The organizers only set the time and place, each person participating in any group trip is responsible for their own safety.  Each participant is responsible for evaluating all relevant conditions for the trip and determining if their skills and equipment are appropriate for those conditions.

Required: PFD (worn), whistle, headlamp/flashlight.  Optional/recommended: pump/bailer, insect repellent, water, snack, change of clothes in drybag.

Thanks everyone. It was a great paddle as always. Good to see some new faces and some familiar faces.

Raman, thanks for organizing this morning trip. It was a great way to beat the heat that arrived later in the day.

I am going to try to join you, but not sure I can get there that early. If I am late I will find you. If I am not there when you are ready to leave (even if you are ready before 8:00), please do not wait for me.

I probably can't go on this outing because I expect to be out picking up a piece of furniture pretty far away all morning.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
