So glad it worked out. You all look great!

Timed perfectly between showers! Nice breeze, a little sun and great company. I can understand why people might not have wanted to drive too far with the iffy forecast. Those who took the chance were gifted with nice weather for a very enjoyable morning on the water.

Sorry I won't attend. Weather too iffy. Hoping for good for all who do attend! Yours, D

Yes, We are ON. I did almost cancel it but I'm glad I didn't. The sun is out now and I think we would have decent (not ideal) weather. I'm heading out now. If anyone has been sitting on the fence and is close enough to make it in time, I'd say suit up.

Bright and sunny now, the parking lot still almost empty. If it weren't people could still park on the nearby street after dropping off their craft.

Are we still on for the paddle given the current weather?

I am still planning on going based on current radar. It could change, but looks like we might get a break for a little while. Sun is out here, about 3 miles away.

    Yes, it is clearing now

Looking at the radar (and some sun peering through the clouds) it looks like the bad stuff has gone past us. We might have a little window of opportunity, so I am still planning to be there unless I see a dramatic change on the radar.

As you probably know I live right there. There is currently frequent thunder and the forecast is not promising.
