Camped at Seboomook Campground in Seboomook, Maine with 3 good paddle pals. Paddled the Northwest cove of Moosehead Lake (largest lake in New England). Also paddled Lobster Lake, Seboomook Lake and the West Branch of the Penobscot River. Racked up 65 miles of new and exciting water.

Allow a day each for travel and setting up/breaking down camp. The last 34 miles before getting to camp is dirt road. Big water, lots of moose and there were deer right next to the bathrooms. Saw 4 moose on Lobster Lake in one day as well as others throughout the time we were there. Be warned, the mosquitoes are as big as the moose.

If you travel from campground to Lobster Lake you will encounter a toll gate on the dirt road. Be prepared to shell out $12 per person to proceed. No cost on return trip.
