Drakes Creek: Sadler Ford to Phil Moore Park - 22 Miles

Meet at 0900CDT at the north side (grassy field side) of Phil Moore Park. This paddle will take us from the Sadler Ford bridge to the lower end of Phil Moore Park #2 - points NN to P2 on the linked map. Total is 22 miles. You may make a shorter paddle by getting out at point LL (Plano Rd./ Co Rd 622) for a 9 mile paddle, or get out at point M (Romanza Johnson Park/Trammel Creek) for a 16 mile paddle. YOU MUST LET ME KNOW AT THE MEETUP WHERE YOU WILL BE TAKING OUT. YOU MUST ARRANGE FOR YOUR RIDE BACK TO YOUR VEHICLE AND THE MOVEMENT OF YOUR BOAT IF YOU ARE NOT DOING THE WHOLE PADDLE.

You missed a good one Tammy and Sally. As usual another GREAT time with great weather and great people. Met some new faces, seen some old faces, and got blasted half a dozen times from unseen faces yielding water cannons. Only because we be unarmed newbies . WILL come next time with WATER BLASTER ARMED AND READY. Fun day for all. Hope to see everyone again on the nect paddle.

Thanks so much Powell for making 3 take outs so it was possible for us to do as much as we wanted. Next time I'll go for the 22. Nice to meet new friends. As with every trip, I look forward to the next run.

I'm going to drop a car off at the 9 mi. take out on 622 before we meet at phil moore parking lot. I''ll be able to carry three people back to the put in if they want to leave their vehicals at the put in. Hope that helps. We just live a couple of miles from there, So no big deal, we'll all get there somehow.
