Good day on a niclely-moving Barren River. Didn't start any precip till we were taking out. Had a new paddler join us today; hopefully, we didn't scare him away. It was really a nice, quiet paddle with a few herons and hawks joining us...looked like some beaver action along the way. Great way to spend New Year's Eve bringing in the new year doing something you love to do and share it with kindred spirits!

take Old Louisville Rd heading NE, after just a little bit from Riverview/Nashville Rd you will make a hard left doubling back on the old College St to the walking bridge where we will put in. No ramp there, but can drive to water's edge. Boat ramp at take out is more of a pain to me than the put in, but we manage together.

I'm really challenged on a new place. Here is what I have, is that what you are telling me?
Take the exit onto I-65 N towardLouisvilleEntering Kentucky 57.3 mi5. Take exit 26 for KY-234 toward Bowling Green 0.2 mi6. Turn left onto KY-234 N/Cemetery Rd, Continue to follow KY-234 N 3.2 mi7. Turn left onto College St 417 ft
sorry, hit enter by mistake.
cemetery changes to fairview, when you get to nashville rd/31w, go right, then tkae right on old louisville
I'm watching the weather and the latest is 50% chance of rain. After all you help Powell, I'm not sure that is something I want to do. I'll keep checking.
Is that momma duck signed up?!?! Yeah!! Can't wait to see you Maryellen!! And don't use the word "dangerous" it makes me nervous!! haha!!
No worries, Sissy Duck! Our fearless leader would not put us on a dangerous situation! Hope we out paddle the rain! We'll have fun, no matter what!

Hey Group, I googled the address above and it looks like could just drive there, is that right? I get lost real easy. I'm thinking about doing this last minute. Is this an easy put in? I like to unload on a boat ramp. Is the walking bridge near this address? Sorry I'm last minute here with questions. I will wait until tomorrow to sign up.
That is a good trip when there is enough water. Today we are paddling a 12 mi trip on the Weeki-Wache river south of Homosassa. It is a class 1 magnitude spring that is crystal clear and full of manatees right now! Watch my fb for pics. Y'all be safe. See everyone soon.
Gotta work, Bummer. Have fun friends !
