Introduction

Learned to paddle on Hogan Creek (small feeder creek to the Ohio River) in a 9' Otter. Joined Tri-State Kayakers & CincyPaddlers, & found out about REAL paddling, so now, I just can't get enough! I paddle all year long, in a variety of boats.

What brought you to The Bowling Green Canoe and Kayak Meetup Group?

I had a couple of Cincinnati friends who were members, & talked me into it....I tried a paddle & had so much fun it makes me wish I lived in Bowling Green!

How much paddling experience do you have?

I paddle everything now, flatwater & whitewater (haven't had the chance to go above a class II yet tho.) My favorite is a faster-running route w/some challenge, & camping out of the kayak.

What type of trips are you interested in? (such as running water, flat water, daytrips, overnight trips)

EVERYTHING!

Chris, it was great meeting you, too. I really had a great time. What a great group of people. The dunkings just added to the adventure! I will definitely be back, and hopefully someday with my own kayak.
