Hi Mary, I am new to kayaking and see that you are one of the organizers. My questions is this: What do you all wear for kayaking during cold weather? Do you always use a spray skirt? What about a wet suit? What kind of foot wear? I am really going to try to get more involved with BGC&K in 2012, just wish I wasn't so ignorant about everything! The Hoosier Canoe Club is paddling in the Greek Islands July 6-12 of this year. We will head to the Dodecanese Islands, near Kos and the Turkish coastline. Arranged through the Geneva Kayak Center in Yorkville, Illinois, the price $2600 covers everything except airfare - accommodations, ferry transports, kayaks, basic gear and all food including alcohol.
