Looking for different groups to paddle with in Southern Kentucky,
Been through a basic kayack paddling class,TSRA Basic White Water Rescue Class, have been paddling for 5 years, Level 1 & 2 rivers and lakes in Tennessee ndd Kentucky. Had CPR Training by Red Cross and American Heart Association, Former Red Cross WSI and YMCA Leader Examiner, Internationally Certified SCUBA Instructor.
Level 1 & 2 rivers, with running current, some strainers, enjoy level 2 rapids also, OK. lakes, day trips only. Like 8 to 12 mile trips, ( 4 to 8 hours paddles) Starting to get into Kayak Fishing here in Tennessee.
Been Kayaking for 5 yeara.I'm the Old Man of the Group,so if I can do it,any one can. I'm retired Air Force, happly married for 45 years with 2 grown children, and 2 grandsons.
Always a good group to go with, there were 18 of us on this paddle, had a good time. Highly recomend anyone wanting to go with a group, to try out Bowling Green Canoe and Kayak, you wpn't be disappointed. They welcome strangers and Newbw paddlers alike. We had numerious new paddlers and first time paddlers on this trip, and they all enjoyed it. J P the Old Man on the Paddle
