FYI - Winter Solstice Ritual Sunday 19th

From: Star F.
Sent on: Tuesday, December 14, 2010 7:31 PM
If you want to participate in a nice open ritual--open to any faiths--please consider:

Yew Grove Pagan Interfaith
Winter Solstice Ritual
Come join us to sow the seeds of the coming year!  Yew Grove invites you to our ritual and potluck to contemplate the darkness and welcome the light together.
The favorite activities of years past will be here, the feasting, the caroling, but also returning is the storytelling and this year the ritual will include stories and meditation from the myth of Demeter and Kore/Persephone.
On Sunday, December 19th
Potluck to follow       (We appreciate a covered dish to share)
First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin
In Howson Hall, at 5:30 pm
4700 Grover Ave.
Austin, TX  78757
We encourage you to bring a pair of men's socks, or men's hat or gloves, as donations to the FUUCA-sponsored Freeze Nights for sheltering the homeless.
