Open Samhain Celebration

To Remember Those Who Have Passed On-

At a Samhain Celebration………………………………

On Saturday, October 25th 2014  beginning at 3:30 pm

At:  Robin & Tony’s House  84 Old Boston Turnpike Rd.  Hubbardston, Mass

-$5.00 per person for celebration expenses- kids under 12 free!

-Please bring a pot luck dish for our Samhain Feast- homemade is preferred! J

-This event is BYOB

-Please park across the street in Martin Tool parking lot (please be respectful!)

Samhain Activities:

-Appetizers served at 3:30 pm (if you are bringing appetizers please come by 3pm)

- Wishing on the Wishing Trees

-Face Painting Contest Children & Adults (Come pre-painted!) with prizes!

-Halloween Trivia Contest with prizes!

-Jack-o-lantern Contest Please bring a pre-carved pumpkin for a children & adult prizes to light up the bonfire area (May be brought home for Halloween)

-Candle lit Ceremony beginning at 5:30 pm – Spiral Procession

-Altar for the Dead (Please bring your pictures of loved ones to be remembered)

-Pot Luck Feast

- Bonfire with the Wicker Man

-Marshmallow Roasting- Ice Cream cones - candy bags for the kids !

If you are planning on attending with your children young children, please RSVP how many children (boy or girls) so that I can have enough candy gift bags for all the kids.

Schedule of Events will be as follows: (Please note this is subject to minor changes)

3:30- 5:30 Meet & Greet- Appetizers

5:00- 5:30 Pre-Ritual Talk and Preparation

5:45- 6:45  Samhain Ritual

6:45 Spiral Candle Procession

7:15 Silent Supper & Pot Luck Feast

8:30 Costume, Pumpkin Carving, and Halloween Trivia Contests & Prizes

9:00 Desserts

Bonfire & Burning of the Wicker Man

10:00 Witch Dance (come watch or participate!!)


All paper products will be provided.

-You may dress comfortably, or choose to participate in our adult or child face painting contest- There will be prizes for the best adult and best child.

    What a turn out!!! There must have been at least 75 people in my little house- the most at a celebration ever!!! I hope that everyone had a good time....
