Thank you for the invite, it sounds like fun; could you provide directions
to get there?

Well met, Everyone!

My partner and I are planning a Beltane Party in north Seattle!
Date: Friday, May 1st
Time: 7:00 pm - 1:00 am

We love to meet new friends, and invite you to party with us.
All ages welcome until 10 pm. After that, little ones are encouraged to seek their own homes.
This will not be ritual-based, but will have a Beltane seasonal theme. We'll do fun things like have an outdoor fire (weather permitting) play dance music, and have space for mehndi [henna] artists.

Our dance music consists mostly of eclectic world, electronica, and pop. Perfect for movin' and groovin'. Email me if you have preferences, and we'll try to accommodate you.
Drum circling is a distinct possibility, so bring your hand drums and shakers if you wish.
I'll have some home made henna paste, and will be available to do designs for folks on site. (Donations appreciated but not required.)

It'll be a pot luck, so bring your favorite tasty bites. BYOB.
We'll provide hot tea, juice & wine, plus fresh fruit.

Dress as you feel called. If you like to frolic and play in fairy garb, go for it! Casual is fine too. We like costumes and fun. Let your imagination run wild! Keep in mind there may be little 'uns present until 10 pm.

Informal performances: We will have a "Salon" part of the evening from 9:00 to 10:00 for folks to share their talents. If you dance, sing, juggle or tell stories... this is your time to shine! Please contact me in advance so we can keep it somewhat organized.
