  • May 10, 2014 · 6:45 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This will be a guided paddle from Jupiter Outdoor center        ( JOC)  if people need to rent kayaks, and paddle boards.  I doubt everyone has their own equipment but if they did we would be able to do our own tour.

So if you could tell us if you need to rent or have equipment in the comment section that would be helpful.

CALL ASAP AND MAKE YOUR RESERVATION WITH JOC[masked] ASAP

To book now and reserve your spot …
http://www.jupiteroutdoorcenter.com/tours-classes/

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS!!

It is $40- They will give you basic paddle instruction, and outfit you in our comfortable and stable kayaks or stand up paddle boards…headlamps and Life Vests included.

If you have your own kayak or paddle board the cost will be $20 you can use the link and put in promo code "own" that gives you the discount.

Enjoy a leisurely paddle around the Jupiter Inlet Aquatic Preserve! All skill levels are welcome. We will be launching from Jupiter Outdoor Center.  There are kayaks and paddle boards available for rent at Jupiter Outdoor Center - www.jupiteroutdoorcenter.com. Lights (headlamps work well), life vests, and whistles required.  There will be spectacular views of the historic Jupiter Lighthouse, adventures around lush mangrove islands, and frequent sightings of manatees, stingrays, heron, ibis and pelicans. Get ready for an incredible sunset and Full Moon paddle.  If you need a kayak, contact Jupiter Outdoor Center.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS!!

Jupiter Outdoor Center is letting us hang out on their beach and use their bonfire pit afterwards.  So bring some beverages, and a snack to share.

Enjoy a leisurely  two hour guided tour of the Jupiter Inlet Aquatic Preserve! All  skill levels are welcome for kayakers, but if you plan on paddle boarding they require you to be experienced.

The tour includes spectacular views of the historic Jupiter Lighthouse, adventures around lush mangrove islands, and frequent sightings of manatees, stingrays, heron, ibis and pelicans.

All equipment included, just bring water to drink. Get ready for an incredible sunset and Full Moon Tour!

THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF 18 FOR THIS MEETUP. We will also be posting this with a few other groups.

SO BOOK EARLY!

They are sold out ! If you haven't prepaid online or over the phone you won't be able to attend. Plan on being there no later than 6:30 I would say 6:15.. it will take a bit to get everyone ready signed in, geared up etc.. .. Paddles up at 7 p m. Don't forget to bring a beverage and snacks we will have S'mores for Bonfire afterwards as well and dry clothes .. my butt always gets wet : )

If you have your own kayak just pull into the JOC and you can unload right next to ramp and there is parking for us there as well.

We will Kayak from St Lucie Village Marina to Island SL8 for some night time fun, stars, nearly full moon, and S'mores! : )
You need at least one light for your boat, plus glow sticks if you wish to be more colorful, a whistle would be smart and legal, a life jacket mandatory, water, snacks, and other stuff in your cooler. Everyone needs to bring a couple logs to donate to the fire. Bring a trash bag for Island clean up after ourselves and others. Have a dry bag for a jacket in case it's needed. Also bring your bug spray! The fire will help somewhat with the bugs.
It's the night before Mother's Day, so get your plans set for a full weekend of good times!!! https://www.google.com/maps/place/Torpey+Rd/@27.5086223,-80.3539211,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88def6b9b40d9899:0x3ccb53fde0a299a9
