What better way to show our Earth some love than by helping protect our public lands?
Join us the day before Earth Day at Sonoran Desert National Monument (just southwest of Phoenix/northwest of Tucson) to help restore desert habitat that has been disturbed by irresponsible recreationists and smugglers.
We will be removing litter and closing and rehabilitating illegal/unnecessary roads. There will be a variety of work, so people of all ability levels are welcome!
Tools, water refills, and snacks provided.
Our meeting site is approximately an hour's drive from Phoenix. Carpooling is encouraged; the leader will put you in touch with others from your area to coordinate carpooling arrangements.
