Usually hike at least once a week. Grew up in New England/upstate New York hiking the Appalachian Trail. Been out west for 48 years hiking mostly Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho & Arizona. Took an early retirement 10 years ago. My profession as an economic mining geologist allowed for fabulous opportunities to hike into some beautiful country few people get to see. Would love to 'meet up' with someone to do a 14-day Patagonia trip early next February including 5 days trekking the 'W' in Torres del Paine, Perito Moreno glacier, Tierra del Fuego & Buenos Aires. Photo to follow.
70-year young serious hiker. Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro 3 months. Have hiked New Zealand, Machu Picchu, the Canadian Rockies in 2010, the Grand Canyon 5 times & 22 states. I organized & lead the Anthem Hiking Club for 6 years doing 150+ hikes.
Doing well. Enjoyed good conversation with new people with varied backgrounds. Gorgeous day to do this moderate hike and talk about future planned programs and projects.
