Korean BBQ aka Gal-bi!!!! (Best I ever ate)

Gal-bi is Korean BBQ and I am having the event at the best Gal-bi place in the greater Philadelphia area which is Kim's BBQ. Here is what Kim's has to say about themselves," We are the only restaurant in Philadelphia that uses 100% Natural Hardwood charcoal for our BBQ, NO GAS! Using 100% Hardwood charcoal is very expensive and involves much more work but we do this because the meats just taste better and we want our customers to have the real authentic smoky Korean BBQ experience." Here is what I have to say, being a long time customer of Kim's, "Their food is of first quality and large quantity". They heap the meat on the platters, which you BBQ yourself on the coals. There are more relish dishes than you can taste and a never ending supply of red-leaf lettuce to wrap the food in. It is as much entertainment as it is a meal! After you select your relish and cook the meat you place it on a leaf and roll it up into a kind of taco. The meat selection is wide including multiple types of beef, pork, squid, chicken, etc. Full Bar service is available and they give you self serve hard ice cream to finish. There are 6 people to a table. Expect to spend $35 for food plus tip. They will NOT split up the bill except by table but I will ask when I make the reservation. If you are on a low carb diet you will have no problem with this food. If you have questions you can email me or phone Kim's at[masked]-4550. Free parking.

EXTRA NOTES FROM PETE:  If you ever went to a different Korean BBQ place and THEY cooked the food for you then you did not get first rate food.  When the staff cooks your food it turns rubbery waiting for you to eat it.  This place looks like a mom & pop because it is.  If they can't serve quality they won't serve anything.  They have pride.

PLEASE:  If you are going to no-show please change your reservation so someone on the waiting list can go.
