Welcome Island Lovers!

This is a meetup group for trips to resort islands including Pulau Pangkil and others in Riau Province (Indonesia). Generally these islands can ONLY be hired as a whole, however this group:

* Allows members to join weekends organized for Pulau Pangkil, meet new friends and share an island adventure without having to hire the entire island. We aim to organize half-a-dozen or so trips per year.

* Assists the formation of private groups by allowing members to contact other members through the site. A minimum of 10 people is generally needed to book the island.

* Facilitates bar nights in Singapore where past and present guests can mingle, form new friendships and discuss forthcoming island trips!

It is expected that group members will be Singapore-based expats and locals however anyone is welcome to join. Full passport details are needed when signing up for a trip so it is suggested that meetup members use a real name (at least a first name) and a recent photo when signing up for this group.

Pulau Pangkil is about 10km off the south east coast of Bintan, Indonesia. It is the closest luxury private resort island to Singapore. More information can be found at www.pangkil.com
