Introduction
Hello. My name is Barbara. I have 4 horses - all Arabian, each one a different horsenality type. I like trail riding and have done a little endurance, mostly riding other people's horses. I have been passionate about horses since I was 3.
Tell us about your PNH partner!
Right now I'm focusing on my RBE, a dark bay 6 yo Arabian named Habib. As you would expect, Habib is full of life and has boundless energy - which I thought was stamina (thus, my 100 mile endurance prospect), but now know it's adrenaline - yikes!
What level are you working in and where do you want to go?
We just returned from Christi Rains L1/2 clinics. How exciting and emotional to see Habib reveal his LB side during the clinic. Lots of progress in a few short days! Now my goal is to work on L2 while I prepare for and pass my L1 assessment.
How did you come to PNH?
I think I was lured into joining the Savvy Club by a clever person at a Horse Expo to get free tickets to a Parelli Tour stop. She said it would "change my life" and it did! I love applying the games in all areas of my life.
Tell us your favorite PNH story!
A patient, 34 weeks pregnant told me that while she feels excited about meeting the baby, she panics about labor and wants to run away. She's fearful of the pain and feels "trapped." How do we help our horses with this problem? The Squeeze Game!
