Hi folks,

There are a couple of very important things to remember with email to prevent everyone from abandoning this list/group:

1. Reply just to the sender of the email NOT the group. So don't use "reply all" and make sure your response is just going to the person that sent the email. Otherwise everyone gets a barrage of useless messages.

2. Before sending an email out it's a good idea to have a court lined up and/or reserved. Members can respond to "I have a court time for 4pm on Wednesday at XYZ court and am looking for a partner."

You can reserve courts online at: and all one needs to do is register there. The instructions and rules are all in French but if I can do it, anyone can!

Thanks very much to Edouard for sharing these tips with me so they can go to the group. We want to make this work really well for everyone!

I have implemented a much better partner finding/matching system at another tennis site that we will bring over to after the summer so we won't have to use this email "broadcast" method for too long.
