Cinco de Mayo Fiesta!

Cinco de Mayo!

Join us for a fiesta in the park! Let's celebrate la cultura mexicana* and hope that our party spirit finally brings the sun to Paris!

Where: Parc de la Villette (Prairie du Cercle)

Date: Sunday, May 5

Time: 4pm until...

What to bring: something to sit on, a Mexican-inspired snack to share (with appropriate utensils as necessary), your beverage of choice

Metro: Line 5 - Porte de Pantin, Line 7 - Porte de la Villette

*As you may know, Cinco de Mayo is not actually a celebration of Mexican independence day (which is September 16) as many people believe. In fact, it's a commemoration of the ousting of the French regime from Mexico in the Batalla de Puebla. Nothing like celebrating how France got their booty kicked to the curb, right? ;)

THIS EVENT IS WEATHER-DEPENDENT.
