Silliest metaphor or simile you've ever read?

I consider silly metaphors to be a self-contained art form. I never scoff at a metaphor, however silly.

Favorite authors/books?

Orwell, 1984. Also, Philip K. Dick The Man in the High Castle.

I've been writing short stories and plays for the past few years. The bulk of my work is on my website (http://rghosh.fre...). Writing to me is an personal experience through which I make sense of the work around me. Currently working on a play.
