Open Gym (and FREE class!) at Fight or Flight

Hey everyone!!  It's been a while hasn't it...

Anyway, how about a little open gym deal at Fight or Flight Academy for the meetup members?  Saturday, December 1st we'll open the doors at 11:00AM for the meetup group.  3 hours of open gym for just $5!  Also at 2pm when open gym is over, you are encouraged to take our FREE introduction to parkour and freerunning class!

Everyone needs to have a waiver filled out to participate (and signed by a parent if you are under 18 years old).  Waivers can be downloaded from our website www.fightorflightacademy.com .  Make sure you have BOTH pages of the waiver if you print it out.

We look forward to training with you!

Had a great time as usual at open gym. Wish I could have stayed for the class as well, but I had a lot to do. Looking forward to the next open gym.

The class was great. The instructors were very experienced, & did a fine job of teaching the Parkour basics. I just wish I could have more practice!

Just curious, how long will the class last, & what will it be about?

Most of the stuff during the intro class is pretty tame, just as long as he knows his limits and doesn't push too far. There is also a place on our waiver to put injuries and medical conditions so we know about it.

Are there any woman that attend because I'm a woman and I wana be just like the guys even though we have different bodies and strengths I believe that I can keep up

We have a few women that come to the gym pretty regularly and they do just fine. It's all about learning what you can do with your body, gender doesn't really matter.

Would I be able to bring a couple of my friends who're in my parkour team? (I don't think any of them are in this group on this site specifically.)

Anyone can come, just need to have a waiver filled out. Just mention that you're from the meetup group and get in for just $5!

So I've never really done legit parkour before. I mean, I've tried a couple different things but nothing serious. I would love to learn though. I see videos of people doing it and it looks so cool and like a lot of fun. And I want to be able to do it too. I don't have any gymnastic experience but I've learned to do a few things on my own. But again, nothing serious. My sister is in gymnastics and when I see her do all these flips and stuff, it looks like a lot of fun. Kind of wished I would've joined gymnastics when I was younger. The reason I want to do this and learn is because I want to do something adventurous and fun. And I love learning new things. After work, I usually come home and play Xbox and I'm tired of it. I want to get out and do something different and active. I really want to come to this so we'll see if everything works out. I'll hopefully see you guys there! Thanks.

    Any age or certain ages

Technically we don't have any age restrictions. Anyone under 18 needs to have the waiver signed by a parent. Any smaller kids need to be very careful during these because we tend to get mostly adults and we don't want any kids to get landed on by a larger person.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
