So it's been a while since I've had time to talk to the group, and for that I apologize!
Thanks to the Snowpocalypse / Snowmageddon / SNOMFG, I've been unable to train too much, and unable to work too much, either.
This is a great time to tell you guys a bit about what's been going on, and maybe answer a few questions about parkour in the process.
For starters, even though I may not be very active in scheduling meetups lately, I do read and respond to every email I get from this group. So if you have any questions at all about training, please don't hesitate. Just send 'em my way! I generally get back to you immediately, and my worst case is by the end of the day.
Next, thanks to all of you who've come to our meetups! I'd love it if you took the time to share your experience with others, especially if you liked it.
Once the weather gets a little better, we're going to be scouting some more outdoor spots,
especially around Alexandria. If you know of good places to train, please let me know!
And finally, there's a LOT going on in the DC Parkour community right now. I can't talk about much just yet, but if all goes well, 2010 is going to be an amazing year for parkour in this city. There are some big changes shaping up, and hopefully they'll only make this the best city to learn and train parkour.
So come to a meetup soon, and feel free to share news, videos, and articles if you come across stuff that might be interesting to the group!
Thanks,
Salil
