I had such a good time with this group at Rhinebeck last year, I definitely didn't want to miss this opportunity. This is my first time going to the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival and it surely didn't disappoint! I bought lots of yarn (drools), ate lots of food and put a huge dent in my wallet. I went with 3 friends and a good time was had by all! Archie did such a wonderful job in organizing the trip. My friends and I very much appreciated the time and effort he put into making sure everyone had a great time. He is such a wonderful person for doing all of this. Thank you so much Archie!

Wonderful day at Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival! Big hat tip to Chris Archie for his organizing the bus trip. Chris considered every detail complete with wonderful baked goods and water. Glad to be part of this event. Happy knitting, Heidi

The trip was well organized in all facets but most outstanding was Archie's caring and attention to every single member of the trip. It's a very pleasant experience to go on an 8 hour bus trip surrounded by nice people and especially when the organizer genuinely wants everyone to have a wonderful time at the festival and the ride as well. This was my second time going to Maryland and it was wonderful. Thank you Archie for all of your efforts and energies you spend on this group and excursion. You really are an outstanding individual and I'm sure your students enjoy your class and conversations as did my 17 year old friend whom you encouraged with mathematics and not giving up. Thank you.

Archie was the sweetest, friendliest bus host. Loooads of tasty snacks from Sweet Melissa's for each leg of the trip. The festival itself was, of course, AMAZING fun. Thanks for hosting!

Thanks Archie, for another great trip to MD. I even enjoyed the extra time between the bus breaking down and getting home. With good company, what's not to like? At least we made it back to NYC :-)

Fabulous weather, great company, shopping til we dropped, and a rainbow on the way back! Thanks Archie! The only discording note was the bus! Driver who had no knowledge of the road, could not read a map, and did not know the rudiments of the mechanics of the bus (could not find the dvd player, did not know there is a release button for the doors in every bus, etc...), and the bus itself (no TP, no dvd player although tvs were in evidence, malfunction after malfunction). It was not fun getting home on the train, particularly having to change train...got home after 10!
But the trip was really great, lovely snacks and plenty of water, and above all, great conversations!

It was a blast! I enjoyed meeting new people on the bus ride. The water, and snacks were quite needed and I appreciated having these treats. Both were sweet, I wonder for next time to provide some savories as well.

It was great and I would go again and bring a friend too.

The meet up was great, the sheep and wool show was wonderful; the bus, well some of us never made it back to Brooklyn via bus, but via the Iron Horse (subway). Bus broke down. . .all in all it turned out wonderful. Thank you Archie for your hard work and enthusiasm.

Thanks, Archie. I did exactly that, but she may have registered as well. So you may see a duplicate.

If you have a guest, please fill out the form, again, for them. Just put YOUR meetup ID as theirs so that I know they are your guest. Your guest can have a different pick-up location then yours.

Hey, Archie - A million thanks for organizing this. Quick question: I filled out the Google form requesting name & address. I assume you want me to fill it in for my sister as well? She MAY do the Manhattan pickup. Please advise.

Susan M, I know there is a parking garage/lot a few blocks west on Atlantic from the Dunkin Donuts. I believe it's between Boerum Pl. and Court Street. According to Google maps it's about 6 blocks west. 211 Atlantic Ave.

i don't have specific advice for this fair but a wise friend once told me to be careful the last half hour...that's when she spent unwisely (thought it was the last hurrah and just overdid it).
