@Shelley - so your Xmas mittens are no surprise at all, name your color choice.

The blue cheese/pecan scone, the fresh spring pea soup, and the company were stellar.

totally ripped out the mistake-laden pink sweater and beginning on circular needles. Hope I progress enough to bring it tonight instead of my 6th mitten.

Only bring it if it is easy. Take it from me. If mittens are easiest you can make me my Christmas present now :~)

Thanks to Barbara I will be starting baby socks tonight, on dpn's.

I started practicing with dpn's yesterday for the first time and started on socks for the first time yesterday. My only problem is that the smallest size dpn's I have are 5, but before I go out and buy sizes 1-3 for socks, I would love to try them. I may hate dpn's and go back to magic loop, so before I waste the money, is there anyone who would be willing to let me borrow dpn's in sizes 1-3, just to experiment. I do have sock yarn and fingering so that is not a problem. Thank you in advance. (Am I being presumptuous?)
