Have known how to knit for almost 50 years. Have been a knitter for at least 40 years.
Sunsets, water views, reading, sewing and fashion.
To knit socially...in the company of other people who enjoy needlecraft. In fact, having been invited to attend some of this group's meetups has helped to rekindle my active interest to knit regularly.
I have yet to identify my style; although, I have seen it referenced at "parlor" because of the way I currently hold my needles (though that is likeley to change). I can and have done intermediate level projects and am interested in improving my knitting skill and creating my own project patterns. Over recent years I have believed myself too busy to knit regularly; now, I believe in the importance to balance my life to include engaging in activities I love, bring joy, and find relaxing.
I am working on an afghan made of 8x8 squares. I also have one unfinished project that has been sitting so long that I am challenged to identify the point at which I left off. I am planning to make a hat for a friend. Other projects are yet undetermied.
Hi, I'm Linda...
Great group. The organizers and knitters are warm and welcoming. The group freely shares patterns and ideas.
