Yesterday was part 3 of the Miss-Flitt-A-Long. I wanted to publicly thank Beth for her time and for sharing her patterns. Please email me pictures of FOs from the KAL, if you have. Two FOs are featured above. Personally, I would love if Beth came back for a part 4. Maybe if you posted on the message boards, we can convince her (hint, hint..)!!
Check out her 3rd book, Seance, on her website. Also, you can see more about Beth's books in the Interweave Knits Holiday 2010 magazine.
In support of Olga's efforts to create knitted comfort blankets for abandoned pets in shelters, PSKC member, Tiger is working on some quilted comfort blankets to be donated. She has found that she has too many pillow cases and that they can be easily converted into the perfect sized pet blanket with minimum fuss. She's hoping there are others like her who would be willing to donate OLD pillow cases or towels. If you would, please contact Tiger and she will happly take them off your hands. She can be reached at [address removed] or[masked].
She's doing this to honor her little munchkin, Lilybeth Edwina, an abandoned kitty that came unexpectedly into her life but never fails to make her smile.
Finally, courtesy of the Brooklyn Fiber Arts Guild, Debbie Stoller is coming on November 29th to the Grand Army Library, Dweck Auditorium, to publicize her new book.
Thanks for reading,
