Subject: [knitting-937] RHINEBECK OR BUST 2011

Every time I look through a knitting magazine, I get this itch to buy yarn. To pet and sniff all the colorful yarn.  As the organizer of this group, if feel it’s my responsibility to enable you ALL to buy as much yarn as you see fit.

That’s why another bus to the NY Sheep & Wool Festival has been arranged.  The festival, affectionately nicknamed Rhinebeck is one of the largest and best wool festivals on the east coast.  You can buy anything involving lambs; from livestock, to fleece, yarn & even meat.

Here are the details:
a) Date - Saturday, October 15th

b) Cost - $46 (includes transportation and admission to the festival). Bus includes usual amenities (large seats, DVD player, TVs, a bathroom, etc..)

c)Meetup Time - 6AM

d) Meetup Locations **NEW** - In taking our other borough brethen into account, I decided to have the second bus meet in Mahattan, near Penn station.
Brooklyn - Dunkin Donuts (corner of 4th Ave & Atlantic Ave)
Manhattan - McDonalds (corner of 6th Avenue & 36th Street)

e) Arrive at Rhinebeck by no later than 9:00.  Eat, shop, pet, learn, knit, spin and be merry. You will be able to sign up for the workshops/classes, if desired. Check out the website for details.

f) Meet for departure at 4:30 PM

g) We will arrive back in Brooklyn by 8 PM.

Space is limited!!! =)  -Archie
