Life in the big city can be hectic and often finding the time to congregate and knit together can be difficult, especially during the week.
That's why I was so cyked when PSKC member Julie offered to host our first ever WEEKEND meet-up at her house this coming Sunday from 3 - 6 pm.
Julie is a mother of three and is a pretty experienced knitter. She has a comfortable and large living room on 13th Street in Park Slope, near the park and Pavilion movie theatre.
"I just wanted to open my home as an alternative to going to a restaurant or to Ft. Hamilton Pkway. Sunday afternoons are best for me, as the mother of three. It's easier to block out some knitting time. Maybe other parents are in the same position re timing."
Julie will provide some snacks for the group, but feel free to bring your own to share with the group.
