Nice! Have you also searched out meetups for knitting in Manhattan? When is your SELP complete? Were you able to reach the lady at Macy's or do you need Kev to help? How are you? <3 & Miss U - Dawn :O)

can't wait till my Thursdays are free again for me to meet-up with the group.
The name of my project is "Knit Warmth for Soldiers". The intention of this
project is to create small knit items that will help soldiers to feel the
love warmth and support coming from home to them, and to know we are
thinking about them with every stitch that we make.
The help we need from
you is to put out the word to your community to join
with us so we can have
wonderful little items shipped out by the end of
August ( middle of
September latest) to Afghanistan.
We will need to make hats, mittens,
socks, and scarves, all in earth-tones.
It's very cold in Afghanistan, and if
we can make our soldiers feel warm and
loved by us, it is the least we can
do to show appreciation for their
selfless sacrifice and our right to
liberty. Feel free to call me on my cell
with join-up pledges. If I am
unable to pick-up at the time, leave a clear
and detailed message and I will
definitely get back to you.
Thank you so much.
P.S. Denorah is
already on-board to make her item.
