a) For all of you Brooklynites, this Sunday is the Atlantic Antic. The Antic is one of the best street fairs in the city. It harkens back to the old street fairs with less tube socks and sheets and more artists and crafts people and local restaurants having booths. It is on October 4th from 10-6, rain or shine. It runs along Atlantic Avenue from the water to 3rd Avenue. For more information, check out the website.
b) Assistant Organizer and owner of Studio Avenue Six yarns, Rachel, will be at the Atlantic Antic again this year! The booth is located between Hicks and Henry on the north side of the street. There will be specials and giveaways for PSKC/Ravelry folks including mini skeins and sock patterns. SAS yarns specialized in self-striping yarns - with a new variegated/striped combo that will be at the Antic for the first time this year.
c) Finally, congratulations to first time knitting pattern author, ROSI, who has a cute girl's sweater pattern in the new fall issue of Knitty. =)
