holiday angst - using real life in our stories and pitch session

Per a suggestion from a member, if you are heading to a conference, in lieu of a submission, let me know and you can use your critique time to pitch your book to us.

But I will still be talking about how the holidays bring us special opportunities to see relationships in action.  We can use the revelations and drama that occur at these times to heighten the tension in our stories.

on the next meeting, we are starting something new. In place of submitting a file, you can use your time to verbally pitch your story in three to four minutes and the group will respond. Just email me a note that says you are pitching rather than submitting pages.
