Are you looking for a FUN and EASY way to show your support of a local non-profit organization this holiday season?
Good News! NAMI Greater Houston (NGH) is eagerly seeking volunteers with the holiday spirit to wrap gifts for donations at Barnes & Noble locations throughout Houston! Shifts are only 2-3 hours.
It is a very simple process:
Step 1: Sign up!
Step 2: Show up!
Step 3: Invite people to the table offering to wrap their gifts.
Step 4: As you are wrapping their gift, talk with them about NAMI Greater Houston--who we are and what we do.
Everything you need will be provided for you: wrapping paper, decorative items, scissors, tape, NGH materials and talking points.

About NAMI Greater Houston:
The mission of NGH is to improve the lives of all persons affected by mental illness through support, education and advocacy.
NGH is a non-profit organization established in 1988 to address the increasing needs for families and person affected by mental illness to have a powerful voice in the mental health community.
NGH provides free education programs, peer support groups and advocacy services that enable individuals living with a mental illness and their families to become more effective self advocates.
NGH actively promotes the development of and access to community mental health programs and services. They work to improve opportunities for recovery; reduce stigma and discrimination; and advance peer understanding of mental illness. Their peer-run resource center - NAMI S.E.A. (support, education, advocacy) Center, gives those affected by mental illness a quiet place to find helpful recovery tools and information.
