First, I'm not a high-tech guy. Thus, no photo, at least not yet. I worked in the Middle East for years and was near fluent in Arabic and Turkish. Not using it here in the US, I've lost a lot of it. I've always wanted to speak Italian, and spend time in Italy (I love all things Italian), and at 62 years old I hope, with the help of Passatempo members, I think I just might get there.
Found you on the internet.
From books, TV and movies, I want to visit all of Italy, especially Trieste. That's the town where my father was stationed during and after WWII.
Beginner (from work at home)...Arabic and Turkish (forgotten a lot).

I searched the internet hoping to find an "Italian club" I could join to speak with others just learning the language. I've gone through a couple of CD/DVD courses but the more I study with disks, the more questions I have. This is exciting.
