Patriots vs. Bills

Hey Pats fans! I am honored to announce that Tom Eaton has given me the reigns for the group this season. He has been a great organizer over the last season, and though my feet can't actually fit in his shoes, I hope to be able to stand in them without falling on my ass! We will still, of course, see his pretty face week to week..awwww. That said, we have added an assistant organizer to the group--Eddie Hines. Eddie comes to us with great enthusiasm and commitment to the group, and I am happy to have him on board. We plan to do a lot of fun stuff this year in addition to the usual bar meetups, including events, tailgates and membership expansion, so stay tuned! If any of you would like to help in any way, let us know! It was great to see everyone last week! We had a great member turnout, and with the game-end results and typical drama of the week, the following comes to mind: Did we have a bad game last week against the puke-green Jets? yes. Did Brady act like a little baby with his wining about the fans? yes. Does he need a haircut in the worst way? yes. Did we lose ol' ye faithful Faulk. yes. Did Moss get his contract yet? no. But don't let any of that get you down!! Remember, we are the PATRIOTS. The team with the most resilliant players, head coach and fans! It is way too early in the season to throw our hands up. Instead, let's raise our glasses and cheer them on with some great drink specials ($1.25 Miller lite drafts and 2.00 bottles of whatever Jocks and Jills determine that day) and comraderie! Woo-hoo! The New England Patriots return home this week to face the Buffalo Bills in the second of three-straight games against AFC East opponents. Last week the Patriots lost, 28-14, at the New York Jets. After hosting the Bills at Gillette Stadium this Sunday, the Patriots will travel to Miami for their first prime time game of the season on Monday Night Football against the Dolphins. This will be a good rival game. Not because the Bills have consistently sucked over the years, but because we need this win. We also need the Jets to win over Miami for the three-way tie (not that we'll be cheering for them out loud.) This is a very important day of matchups, so wear your red, white and blue proud, folks and RSVP today! --Dawn PS RSVPing is critical for our group to retain our spot at Jocks and Jills, as there are other groups that are vying for our seats. The earlier you RSVP, the better--and if something changes, go back and take yourself off the RSVP list before the game. Thanks for this in advance!! Oh, and if anyone has any further thoughts on Brady's ridiculous hair or any suggestions for the group, be sure to comment! :-p

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
