Ok, so the group name isn't all that original! But it is one of my favorite phrases - and movies!
Perhaps you randomly received a generous favor from someone you didn't know. Or perhaps you've anonymously done a favor for someone else. If so, then you already know this….when you sow seeds of kindness and compassion in the heart of another, it grows, flowers, and eventually spreads its own seeds, even if you're not there to witness it. The concept is a simple one. Somebody does something good for you and you then do something good for somebody else.
It may not have happened to you yesterday but at some point in your life, somebody gave you a little lift. And now it's time to "pay it forward.” The stronger the action, the less there is to say, for the action will speak for itself and the reward for such an action is the action itself.
The goal of this meet-up is to keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities around Indianapolis and spread the word. Volunteer as much or as little as you can, just do something! What we will endeavor to do is pass on our kindness in the community as a group and hope that the kindness we pass on is passed on again and again.
It's a great way to make new friends, do some good, and feel terrific about yourself in the process!
So, come ride the karma wave with us!! Especially when more people than ever are hurting in 2009 due to job losses and the economy. Sign up and drop me a message and lets share our kindness and ideas. The rewards are endless!
PAY IT FORWARD…FOR YOU NEVER KNOW HOW YOUR ACTIONS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

Random Acts of Kindness
Kindness seems to have flown out the window. It's not often that we interact with others using kindness. Below are 15 ideas you can use to show kindness. Try it...its contagious!
Donate money to a good cause, you don't have to give a lot, give what you are comfortable with. You will be helping someone and you'll be rewarded for it in the future.
Let someone in front of you at the checkout. If you have a full cart and the person behind you has a few items in their hands, let them in front of you. It won't take much longer and they'll appreciate your good deed.
Do a good deed without recognition. Pay for the meal for the car behind you in the drive through lane. Something simple like that means a lot!
Tell people who are close to you that you love them. It's important for those near your heart to realize what they mean to you. You never know what the future holds or how long they will be around.
Help someone change a tire. If you are traveling and notice a car on the shoulder of the road with a flat tire, offer to help change it, whether the driver is male or female, it's a hassle to have a flat while you are in traffic and your good deed will not go unnoticed.
Push your cart in the cart corral at your grocery store. Don't leave it in the middle of the lot, this will prevent accidents and make it easier on store employees who have to gather them.
Hold the door for someone coming in behind you. It's a friendly gesture and you're sure to get a smile.
Offer to push an elderly person's shopping cart back to the store or cart corral, this will save them a few steps and they'll appreciate your kindness.
Pick up trash you see on the ground. It doesn't matter if you didn't put it there. Just pick it up and throw it away.
If you are near someone who drops something, bend over and pick it up for them.
Compliment someone every day. It will really brighten their day.
Leave an overly-generous tip for a waitress. It doesn't have to be extravagant, just enough that she will notice.
Bring donuts to work with you to share with your co-workers.
Do a chore without being asked. This is very much appreciated.
Offer to baby-sit for a single parent. Just so they can a have few hours of adult time. They will be grateful.
