Poway Black Mountain Toastmasters Club Meeting

Regular Meeting

Our weekly meeting will be held in the Bill Bond Room at the Poway Community Center.  13094 Civic Center Dr, Poway, CA.

We will have up to three speakers this week. Speakers will range from some of our newest members to very experienced members, including Distinguished Toastmasters, DTMs. They are sure to entertain, inspire or enlighten you.  Members, please sign up for speaking parts on the Club On-Line Website (link below).

Table Topics, Etc.

One of our members will conduct a round of Table Topics to help us all practice our impromptu speaking skills. There will also be a Word of the Day, some humor from our Joke Master, some tasty treats, a chance to mix and mingle and much more.

Our Toastmaster

All of this activity will be moderated by one of our members who will be the Toastmaster of the evening and will pick a meeting theme.

We normally have one to four guests at any given meeting.  All perspective members are encouraged to attend as guests for a few meetings prior to deciding to join or not.  The meeting format is conducive to allowing a guest to participate as much or as little as they desire.  You will be provided with a guest packet full of information on the Toastmasters program and any of our members would be happy to answer any questions you might have.  Please be sure to introduce yourself to our VP of Membership, Bharath or VP of Education, Sean, and they will be glad to help you as well.  If you would like more information prior to the meeting, please send an e-mail via the CONTACT US link on the left hand menu bar and you will receive a response.

Open Roles - Members

If you would like to gain some valuable experience (most  count in your Competent Leader manual) and help the club have a wonderful and fun-filled meeting, then volunteer to fill a meeting role. Just follow this link to the website to select an open role.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
