for those who turned up for tim courtney's photography talk, he mentioned he used to put up his own photography auctions/shows at local framing stores.  maybe we could talk to local framing stores to see if they would be open to this. - this would be a good way for them to promote their own stores, since customers would buy prints of our photography and probably use their framing services to frame the prints.

I know of several artists, other media though, who do have sales in their home/studio. Some are well known artist too.  So, just wondering what the drawbacks are?
BTW, since the last time I mentioned having a show I had planned to talk to a couple of people in galleries but as noted, they are booked up years ahead.
