PDALA member, Drew Santos and his photo partner Karl Yamashita are holding an event in the desert about 30 minutes from the Victorville area. They will be utilizing the abandoned houses and a dry lake bed for the shoot. This is a workshop and group shoot all in one. Drew and Karl are here to share their tips to beginning photographers and will help you get hands on experience in using affordable and portable on-location lighting equipment. To make use of the workshop, Pocket Wizards are recommended. You can rent the PW's from Calumet or Samy's if needed.

For photographers who don't care about the workshop, they can shoot the availabe models attending for the group shoot portion.

Time: 1pm to 5pm
Location:
They will be meeting at a rendevous point around Victorville or Apple Valley at 12pm and carpooling to actual shooting location. Meeting place will be emailed to you 1-2 days before the event.

Photographer fee:
? Workshop - $120 fee with $60 deposit.
(For photographers who want to learn working with strobes. Group shoot included.)
? Group shoot - $80 fee with $40 deposit.
(For photographers not interested in the workshop portion.)

Model releases are not included. Cost of model release will depend on what the model charges.
