Help! Calling all members who were at the photo shoot on December 6, 2009. Jessica Dunford, the second model of the day, would like for those of you who took shots of her to contact her. She wants to gather images from that day.
Her email is [address removed].
I will be one of the working Press at the Photography Marketing Association (PMA) conference on February 21st through 23rd in Anaheim, California. While there I will attempt to speak with as many professional instructors as possible and have them come out and speak to our group.
I thank our assistant organizer Larry, who was able to secure such a highly qualified professional in the field of photography to speak to us on Sunday, February 21st. As a former Senior Director of Photography Entertainment at Corbis, she will be able to answer all those questions you have about the future of stock photography, along with questions about what to charge for your images.
She has been a featured speaker for national photography organizations. Our event will be her first association with a Meet-up organization. She is willing to answer questions in-depth.
I am in the process of communicating how important we are to the world of photography and digital artists to as many businesses connected to our field.
In Response to Your Questions - Clarification About the PMA Although this convention is for professionals in the photography field, and is not open to the general public, our members wanting to attend a class should contact the PMA. Members should be able to call them and purchase directly from them. Remember you can always use our group title to show that you belong to an organization associated with photography.
