I've known about that tour for a long time, haven't been on it yet. Never would have thought to mention it as an event here. Thanks Ron for letting everyone know.
I have been thinking, what do you or anyone think about having a group show? I have a place in mind that might exhibit our work. There would be a lot involved so don't know if anyone would want to or if we could get it together. And as many might know, even if we applied to show, it could be a year or more to get an opening. But before I talk to the gallery, would like to get some feed back. Just an idea!

First I would like to take Norna and Elle for organizing our last meet up at the Thai festival. My wife and I personally enjoy the experience. We only wished that we could have gone on the free tour of Thai town and dining experience.
This Sunday we will have our meetup and picnic, please used this time to share your desires on the direction our group will be taking in the future, and what you feel would make it better. This is your group I want all members to have a voice, also this is a committee run organization, your voice will be heard.
I wanted to share some possible activities for the group. Livelarge is part of a celebration of leading edge talent in Los Angeles art and music scene put on by LA weekly magazine. Take a look, and forward your photos to them. Would you also mentioned in your comments that you are a member of our group.
As we are now approaching fall with winter bringing adverse weather that may affect our activities and outing. I will post activity that you may be able to use at your own discretion.
As you know there are conflicting information on whether we are legally able to photograph on the Metro rail and bus. Here's a chance for you to legally photograph the different stations on the Metro rail property. Take the Free arts tour by the Metro, it happens on the first weekend of every month, a telephone number for more information[masked]-2738. The tour lasts approximately two hours, on Saturday they meet at 10 a.m. at the street level entrance to the Hollywood and Highland Metro rail station. On Sundays they meet promptly at 10 a.m. at the information booth inside the entrance to the historic Union Station.
This will be a great meet up for the future because they make allowances for tour groups of 15 or more by special arrangements.Metro.net <http://metro.net/>
